Frequently Asked Questions

The Aruba ED Card (Embarkation/Disembarkation Card) is an online entry registration required for all travelers arriving in Aruba by air. It replaces the traditional paper arrival form and must be completed before travel.

All travelers — including tourists, business visitors, visa-exempt travelers, and residents returning to Aruba — are required to complete the ED Card prior to arrival. Each traveler, including children and infants, must have their own submission.

No. The Aruba ED Card is not a visa. It is an electronic pre-registration required by Aruban immigration authorities.

Travelers who require a visa to enter Aruba must still obtain one separately. The ED Card does not grant entry permission on its own and does not replace visa requirements.

The ED Card must be submitted within seven (7) days prior to your arrival in Aruba. Submissions made outside this timeframe may not be valid and may need to be completed again.

Travelers are encouraged to complete the form in advance to avoid delays during airline check-in or upon arrival.

The ED Card is valid only for the specific trip and travel dates provided in your application. It is not a multi-entry authorization.

If your travel dates change or you leave and return to Aruba at a later time, you must complete a new ED Card.

Transit passengers staying in Aruba for more than 24 hours may be required to complete the ED Card. Requirements may vary depending on your itinerary and whether you pass through immigration control.

Completing the form in advance helps avoid potential delays.

Yes. An ED Card can be completed on behalf of another traveler, such as a family member or group participant, provided all information matches the traveler’s passport exactly and proper authorization has been obtained.

Each traveler must still have an individual ED Card submission.

Once submitted, you will receive a digital confirmation (green check or QR code) by email. This confirmation should be saved on your mobile device or printed and presented at airline check-in and to immigration authorities upon arrival in Aruba, together with your passport.

No. This platform operates independently and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Government of Aruba or its immigration authorities.

We provide an optional assistance service that includes guided application support, verification checks, and customer support. All entry decisions are made solely by Aruban immigration authorities.
